How does a dream last? Wake up
and then you are gone.
Every dream of having the woman to be
by your side was many and not long.
Ask at Fate’s door often I did, yet the only
door between us was me not opening my eyes.
Reaching out my hand I did,
then my heart pushes a tear out.
Time stopped at last, the inner essence
of true love was upon me, without a doubt.
So many emotions all focused on me,
how I felt the soul of her heart touch me.
Only her soft tender kiss on me
opens my true path of what is to be.
Feeling a happiness I never expected,
so full of love was put upon us.
Once in a life line does this happen so I know
chances are few, follow my heart I must.
Now and forever is to me endless, so will
be my love in my eyes for her to see.
Each past love I will not forget, only this true love
has no past, just something to start new for me.
